The Glen200 Residents Working Group has planned a year of exciting activities and events throughout 2025. All designed to honour the history and celebrate the community of one of Ontario’s most treasured hamlets.
Events and activities will be ongoing throughout 2025, with a special all-day celebration on Saturday, September 27, 2025.

Residents gathered for a nostalgic celebration of winters in the Glen. Everyone was engaged in the historical slide show and and stories of winters past. The beautiful Sykes & Ainley Main St. In The Glen was auctioned as well. Congratulations to Lois Fraser the lucky bidder for the blanket.
Congratulations to our first two Glen200 Bell Ringers Ruby Shields and Siena Titus who signalled the start of the Little Feet Big Discoveries event with 50 rings of the 121 year old church bell. The tour started at St. Alban, walking through the hamlet learning about it's rich history. The journey concluded at the Williams Mill, in the Kind Vibe Kids facility with prizes for the Scavenger Hunt winners, gifts for the Bell Ringers, hot chocolate, yummy treats, games and fun with Grimace.
The Glen200 Committee chose the logo submission of Rachel Marshall in June to use throughout the bicentennial year of Glen Williams.
The design spoke to the lushness of the Credit valley with its bridges spanning the river. She chose three iconic buildings to represent the village – the Williams Mill, the Town Hall and the Copper Kettle (former general store and post office).
The theme “Honouring History – Celebrating Community” is printed at the bottom. Second choice was a submission by Claudia Russell, Alexandra Russell and Elizabeth Bailey, with third place to Bridget Titus.
Thank you to all residents who submitted to the contest.
