The Glen200 Committee chose the logo submission of Rachel Marshall in June to use throughout the bicentennial year of Glen Williams.
The design spoke to the lushness of the Credit valley with its bridges spanning the river. She chose three iconic buildings to represent the village – the Williams Mill, the Town Hall and the Copper Kettle (former general store and post office).
The theme “Honouring History – Celebrating Community” is printed at the bottom. Second choice was a submission by Claudia Russell, Alexandra Russell and Elizabeth Bailey, with third place to Bridget Titus.
Thank you to all residents who submitted to the contest.
